One of our projects allowed us to collaborate with multiple community organizations to start a community garden with the underserved youth at the community center of the area's public housing authority. We did a series of programming that included nutrition educators, volunteer gardeners, and local technical education students. The image captures the success of the program and the opportunity for the students to put their lesson into reality and watch something grow.
