Those of you not from Washington state probably only associate three things with us; Starbucks, the Space Needle, and rain. And while we love the first two the last one makes it pretty difficult to work outside for forty hours a week. It also makes it hard to go for a nice hike. We finally get a sunny day (sorry rest of the country but the heat wave has yet to hit us) and get up on the trails only to find out they are covered with mud from the previous months of rain. That's where we come in. We work for the wonton conservation corp and we help keep the trails dry by clearing drainage problems and building subtle dips in the trail to guide water away. Nobody likes to hike in soggy shoes and thanks to us they won't.
