Busy at Work
Students at the Kane Middle School created bead wolves to sell to other students. The school mascot is the wolf because a community member used to own wolves and research them in the 1920s, which is during a time when most people were killing wolves- not saving them. The students attached wolf facts to the bead animals to raise student awareness of our history and an endangered species, the wolf. Students raised money to donate to the New York Wolf Conservation Center. These students are the next generation of non-profit leaders. They tried to increase profits and decrease costs to raise more money for wolf conservation. This photo is of students teaching each other to make the bead wolves.
