This Americorps opportunity was located in California, Pennsylvania. My Americorps team and I were split into about 20 groups of volunteers. Our instructions were to go ahead to our assigned sites and prepare the duties that were given within our college community and neighbors. In this specific picture, my girls and I were to do different tasks such as, wash cars (as the picture shows), Paint porches, rip up old vines, and put down tons of new soil between the two sites. I wanted to post this picture mostly in name of California University of Pennsylvania and to my fellow students who constantly attempt in actually "making a difference" within our college community.
