Through the Minnesota state AmeriCorps program, Minnesota Reading Corps, I have the unique opportunity to serve students in one-on-one setting. The amount of growth that occurs is outstanding! Students leave my room with new literacy skills and a renewed self-confidence. It is in this new found confidence where students truly take steps towards meaningful, long-term growth.
