The Green Iowa Americorps team working out of Decorah, IA has done some amazing things this year. The first two pictures are of one of our members climbing across the attic of a home touching up the spray foam. Did I mention it was about 90 degrees that day and he was inches from the roof. We decreased this house's air changes by 9%, making it more energy efficient for heating and electric bills. The next two pictures are from a river clean up, at which our team and a few other volunteers pulled 75 tires and a lot of scrap metal out of the Upper Iowas river.
