A look at an AmeriCorps NCCC member from the Atlantic Region and his work with PhillyRising in Philadelphia, PA. The project involved sending the NCCC team into some of Philadelphia's most challenging neighborhoods and cleaning up vacant lots and alleyways in an effort to get the local community involved with the initial clean up to start a legacy taking pride in their neighbhorhood. This picture specifically, shows a before and after of one of the lots we cleaned up.
