Big, bulky, black boots are a staple of AmeriCorps NCCC service. Andrea (pictured) and her team Silver 5 certainly put them to good use working for Habitat for Humanity in Portland, cutting trail for Sugar Pine Christian Camp outside of Yosemite, and working as a fire engine attachment with the US Forest Service.
