photos with symbols created
Had a question about rules for photos submitted: thought that photos had to have AmeriCorps symbol within it. Why are photographers allowed to place a symbol externally by cutting and pasting (ie. through photoshop or another photo editing program) within the photograph and have it entered in the contest? It changes the photograph and is not the original photo, and technically violates the rules that many submitters followed.

The rules state that the photos "must include" but they do not expressly state that the logo must be in the original photo. Quite a few photos did not make it to the final voting due to the fact that they didn't meet this requirement.
